HIB Update

Please see the below attachment concerning:

Per the requirements of the Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying Policy, all volunteers must be trained in the HIB procedures before they are able to volunteer in either of our schools.  According to our school district policy, “the school district’s employee training program shall include information regarding the school district’s Policy against harassment, intimidation, or bullying, which shall be provided to full-time and part-time staff members, contracted service providers, and school volunteers who have significant contact with pupils.” To that end, and in accordance with the district’s HIB Policy (#5512), in order to be approved by the BOE as a district volunteer,  ALL volunteers must receive the required  two hour mandated training. Those individuals who received the required HIB training during the 2011-2012 school year must still complete the volunteer packet in order to be Board approved for the upcoming school year. To our knowledge, there is no additional training per the HIB requirements at this time.


Elementary School Change in Times

Due to a change in schedule on Wednesday, December 12th & Friday, December 21st, please note the following:

Wednesday, December 12th 
A.M. & P.M. Kindergarten:  8:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m.All other grades will follow their regular schedule.

Friday, December 21st
A.M. Preschool:    8:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m.   P.M. Preschool:    10:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.       A.M. & P.M. Kindergarten:  8:00 a.m.–10:45 a.m.         Grades 1 – 4:  8:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

ES Class Lists

Elementary School Parents:

We are in the process of finalizing class lists for the 2012-2013 school year.  Any information that inadvertently appeared on the parent portal at this time may be incorrect. Letters will be sent home the week of August 20th informing you of your child’s homeroom teacher.  Correct information on your child’s homeroom teacher for the 2012-2013 school year will appear in the Genesis parent portal the week of August 27th.  If you have any questions please contact the main office at 908-859-0800 x3400
