Lopatcong Elementary School Student Supply List

Lopatcong Township Elementary School’s Student Supply List ’14-’15



Backpack (big enough for a standard folder to fit without folding)

2 glue sticks

1  two- pocket, plain folder, without prongs, with the  student’s first and last name on it.

*Please be sure to mark all of your child’s belongings with their name



1 24 pk. Crayons (not bigger)

3 large Elmers glue sticks

5 – #2 Ticonderoga sharpened pencils

2 large erasers

1 pencil box (no zipper cases)

5 laminated 2-pocket folders (purple, blue, red, green and yellow)

1 dry eraser

3 dry erase markers

1 yellow highlighter

1 scissor



3 ring binder-1 inch, 2 pockets, hard cover

5 laminated two-pocket folders (1 blue, 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green, & 1 fun choice)

1 pencil box-hard case or zipper pouch

1 box of 24 crayons

12 sharpened pencils

2 dry erase markers

1 dry eraser or old sock

2 glue sticks

1 pair of blunt scissors

2 highlighters



Zipper soft pencil case

5 pocket folders of different colors

Eraser for a whiteboard (a sock is acceptable)

2 whiteboard markers


Please see each individual teacher’s website for additional specific supplies

    2. highlighters (multiple colors)
    3. pens (multiple colors)
    4. pencils
    5. erasers
    6. zipper pencil pouch
    7. 5 two-pocket folders without metal prongs
    8. 1 two-subject spiral notebook
    9. 1 three-subject spiral notebook
    10. 1 non-spiral writing journal of any size, shape, or color


Items 1-6 are to be stored in the zipper pencil pouch.  Therefore it is important to check that those items will fit before coming to school with them.  This will ensure that you will have the proper supplies for each class because you will switch rooms for different subjects in 4th grade.

Also note that as the year goes on it is important to replenish supplies so you are always prepared for class.


Middle School Parent Survey

Parents and Guardians!

The middle school is currently reviewing our policies on grading and homework. We are interested in your opinion as parents and community members. In an effort to gather input from all stakeholders, we have generated a brief survey for completion. If you would like your voice heard, please complete the online survey prior to August 6, 2014. Also, if you are interested in being a member of our committee, please email Jeanene Dutt at by July 30, 2014. Please understand there are limited openings on this committee but your input is essential on our survey. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
