The Lopatcong Township School District is proud of the individual and collective academic achievements of its student population. We take pride in the efforts that the various school and community stakeholders make in planning and supporting educational programs that benefit all of our students. We have a half day kindergarten program, self-contained classrooms in both schools as well as inclusive classes in kindergarten through eighth grade. Departmentalized program opportunities are provided for students in fifth through eighth grade. In addition, “specials” for student growth in meeting or exceeding the common core state standards include physical education, health, art, music, and Spanish. Further, we utilize up to date technology in our instructional areas including Smart Boards in all classrooms, Chromebooks for lessons, as well as 5 stationary and 6 portable computer labs district wide. We have child study team members on site along with a district run after-care program. Additionally, we have multiple clubs at the middle school level (i.e., Student Council, Drama, Forensics) and Activity Zone for physical education at the elementary level.
Currently all 12 choice openings are full with no anticipated openings for the 2017-2018 school year. However, we will be accepting applications for our waiting list. Please contact the school if you have any questions.
